STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. After announcing in 2019 that Red Lobster would be opening a restaurant in The Boulevard in New Dorp, the developer for the new $180 million project said the popular seafood chain has since pulled out of the deal.
Known for various dishes, such as Creamy Lobster Alfredo, Wood-Grilled Sea Scallops and Garlic Shrimp Scampi, the popular chain seafood retailer headquartered in Orlando, Fla., was supposed to make its debut on Staten Island in the new Boulevard shopping center.
