Cheshire: Fire at outbuilding of village pub | Chester and District Standard

The fire broke out in an outbuilding at about 5pm on Tuesday (April 20). Firefighters from Lymm and Warrington stations joined their colleagues from Northwich, who put a small cordon in place while the fire at the Chetwode Arms in Lower Whitley, Northwich, was extinguished. A spokesman Cheshire Fire Service said: Shortly after 5pm firefighters Northwich, Lymm and Warrington were dispatched to reports of a fire at a public house in Lower Whitley. On arrival at the scene the crews discovered a fire in an outbuilding. Two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, entered the building and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
