Those on the front line have sacrificed a lot, taking care of the sick and seniors, while risking their own lives and families, but there is a group of caregivers who have not been in the news as much. These workers have worked inside all year in homes and nursing and assisted living facilities when the COVID-19 numbers were soaring. They have provided much needed care and companionship at a time when both were sorely needed.
