Man arrested, accused of burglarizing homes while families attend funerals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The Jacksonville Sheriff s Office has arrested a man accused of breaking into people s homes and stealing their belongings while they attended funerals for loved ones.
On Thursday, JSO Director of Investigations Mike Bruno held a news conference announcing the arrest. Bruno said police were called to a home on Aug. 21, where a man said he was attending his mother s funeral when someone broke into his home.

TELL CITY, Ind. (WFIE) - A man wanted in connection to a Christmas Day homicide in Vigo County, Indiana turned himself in.
Officials say Philip Atterson turned himself in to police in Johnson County, Indiana.
He was the man officials in Perry County asked people to be on the lookout for.
Atterson was wanted in connection to the death of 38-year-old Sarah Henderson of Terre Haute.
Her body was found in a storage unit on East Springhill Drive near a bowling alley on Friday.

A mail carrier was taken to St. Vincent Anderson Hospital after the mail van she was driving was struck head-on by another vehicle on Wednesday on Layton Road, south of Indiana 32.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department reported that Traci Robbins, 39, of Muncie was delivering mail when a Chevy Cobalt driven by Bryanna Siaba, 23, of Anderson struck the mail van. According to a press release from the sheriff’s department, Siaba had lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered road.
Robbins was taken to the hospital for a contusion to the forehead, and Siaba declined medical treatment.

Ardiel also pleaded guilty to breaching a court-ordered driving condition when he was caught by police in the Oliver area driving a three-wheel ATV and gave a false name
