Netflix has finally given us fans a premiere date for Selena The Series Part 2, which is going to be the final installment of the two-part series.
It will premiere May 4, more than a week earlier than it was previously announced (Yay!).
Netflix also released a teaser for the second part, check it out:
Fans will get to see how [she] balances family, love, and a burgeoning career. Part 2 of
Selena: The Series chronicles the years of hard work and sacrifice the Quintanilla family navigate together as she becomes the most successful female Latin artist of all time.
Christian Serratos has also opened up about her experience of portraying the singer in the series, which charts the star s rise to fame before her tragic death aged just 23. The series is going to be very eye-opening for people because we re showing so much more of Selena s life that we learned because of them, Serratos explained.

Netflix announced on Tuesday that Christian Serratos is Selena in a new series about the Tejano star s life. The streaming service released a trailer for the new show on Tuesday morning with Serratos, the Walking Dead actress, as the late singer in Selena: The Series Part 1 premieres in 2020. Netflix
Selena fans, the last half of Selena: The Series has a premiere date. The Netflix show, which shares the story of Queen of Tejano, will return to the platform May 4.
In December, the first half of the show premiered to a flurry of thought pieces and Twitter hot takes. To be fair, the criticism was valid. The wigs were bad and Selena was missing from her own namesake show, which pivoted the Tejano star s ascent into a story about her father A.B. Quintanilla (played to frowny perfection by San Antonio-based Richardo Chavira).
