Village of Adena takes part in nationwide Wreaths Across America observance | News, Sports, Jobs

(Photo by Esther McCoy) ADENA “Be an American Worth Fighting For” is the theme of the Wreaths Across America mission to show families of our nation’s heroes how important their sacrifices were to those who stayed behind. Numerous cemeteries in the Tri-State Area were among the more than 2,000 where ceremonies were held Saturday. That included St. Casimir Cemetery, where 14 members of the Roger and Donna Sliva family of Adena, some of whom came from Columbus and Roanoak, Va., volunteered.
