CHERRY VALLEY, CA With her prowess around horses and other livestock, a 1oth grader from Springs Charter School in Cherry Valley has been invited to compete at the 73rd annual National High School Finals Rodeo in Lincoln, Nebraska, organizers announced.
Gracie-Beth Sutton earned a spot on the California team and will be traveling with fellow Golden State representatives to the finals, July 18-24, where she will face tough competition. The event features more than 1,650 contestants from 44 states, five Canadian Provinces, Australia, Mexico and New Zealand. The NHSFR touts itself as the world s largest rodeo.
