Today, much of the action takes place in Plano, where a team runs the operations for Raising Cane’s 550 restaurants that employ 34,000 people. For the past four years, Raising Cane’s has opened about 60 new restaurants a year. That number will swell to 85 in 2021, says Todd Graves, Raising Cane’s founder and co-CEO.

Why ignore the truth? Our country ended 2020 in chaos. Between the pandemic and the election results, our country was in a hot mess! Two weeks after an attempted insurrection intent on destroying our democracy, a new administration began. But the GOP seemed intent on ignoring what happened ahead of the inauguration. They are back to being the party of “no.” After all the turmoil, the GOP is “not sure” that COVID-19 relief is needed. Somehow, they still think obstructing the work of our federal government is a good way to operate.
