Russia champions thaw of conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan
17 de mayo de 2021, 13:25Moscow, May 17 (Prensa Latina) Kremlin Spokesman Dmitri Peskov on Monday repeated that Russia keeps permanent contacts with major authorities from Armenia and Azerbaijan to prevent the escalation of tensions in the bilateral border conflict. The head of the press at the Russian Presidency told reporters that Moscow is making great efforts to ease tensions and solve the situation.
He stressed that Russia considers the implementation and fulfillment of the trilateral agreements on Nagorno-Karabakh, reached on November 20, 2020, and January 11, 2021, between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, an alternative to the conflict.
