Fox & Friends appeared somewhat delighted by new reports that give credence to the theory that the deadly Covid-19 pathogen leaked from a Wuhan Lab that studies virology. Dr. Anthony Fauci recently admitted that he was not certain that the global pandemic started in a Chinese wet market, which sent a number of conservative commentators […]

As we previously reported, the White House bashed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, both Republicans, in March after they both announced they were lifting their mask mandates and setting the stage for businesses to be able to be fully open and operational again.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki claimed at the time that “this entire country has paid the price for political leaders who ignored the science when it comes to the pandemic.”
President Biden piled on by insinuating that red-state governors were going to roll back progress. “We are on the cusp of being able to fundamentally change the nature of this disease,” he stated. “The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime, everything’s fine, take off your mask, forget it. White House reporters are reportedly giving the Biden administration substantial control of its messaging, at least when it comes to publishing quotes from government officials.
Politico s West Wing Playbook alleged that White House journalists are fuming over what has been described as rules when it comes to running quotes from the new administration. If you’ve read a quote from an administration official in a newspaper or a wire story recently, there’s a good chance that the White House communications team had an opportunity to edit it first, Politico wrote on Monday. That’s because the Biden White House frequently demands that interviews with administration officials be conducted on grounds known colloquially as background with quote approval, according to five reporters who cover the White House for outlets other than Politico.
