Madrid: Ahead of the Champions League clash against Liverpool, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane said his team wants to do well in the match and that s the only thing on their mind.
Real Madrid is scheduled to play the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool on Wednesday, with the second leg slated to be played on April 15. It s a knockout tie. Muscat: Immunisation against Covid-19 has been made a precondition to enter the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Press Agency (SPA), announced.
President General of the Grand Mosque and Prophet s Mosques Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, has stressed that the decision to only allow immunised people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 into the Two Holy Mosques, reflects the Saudi Leadership’s keenness on the safety of pilgrims and worshippers.
Al-Sudais noted that the Kingdom’s wise Leadership has exerted tremendous efforts and taken all possible preventive and countermeasures against the coronavirus pandemic to ensure high health standards at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, calling on all worshippers and pilgrims to adhere to health regulations.
ahlibank’s OMR30 million rights issue oversubscribed 1.29 times

Muscat: ahlibank has announced an oversubscription of its rights issue by 1.29 times. This marks the successful closure of the bank’s rights issue of ordinary shares of OMR30 million. ahlibank had proposed an additional 300 million shares at 101 baisas per offer share, including issue expenses of 1 baisa per share.
Said Abdullah Al Hatmi, CEO, ahlibank, said, “The purpose of the rights issue was to strengthen the Tier I capital of the bank and to meet the capital requirement for business growth. I am proud to share that despite a challenging local and global economic environment, there has been an overwhelming response from shareholders, and I would like to thank them for their continued trust and confidence in ahlibank.
