Operation Honor now one step closer to expanding resources
Operation Honor founder Joe Montgomery isn t a veteran himself but sees a need in Northern Kentucky to help veterans in the post-service path toward reintegration. One part of that mission involves the creation of products through woodworking.

And I think it is important that we seek to understand where other views exist,” he wrote, in a post on the link where the article was removed. “In this particular case however, it has been made clear to me that publishing this essay was viewed as undermining both the inclusive culture we are seeking and the work that is being done across all ranks to effect this change – work that is incredibly important, not just to me but to our organisation.”

Senator Fowler said the decision was made with the help of previous charity recipient Southern Illinois Honor Flight.
Southern Illinois Made has announced a new charity for the 2021 Southern Illinois Made Expo.
Senator Dale Fowler and the Southern Illinois Chambers of Commerce announced that this year, proceeds from the expo will be donated to Operation Honor Guard. Southern Illinois Honor Flight, which has previously been the charity recipient for the expo, will still be partnering with Southern Illinois Made to provide volunteers for the event.
Fowler said the decision to donate to Honor Guard was made with the support of Honor Flight, which already has funding for their next two flights.
