A PAIR of Port Glasgow school pupils got involved in an area-wide school fitness challenge. The Inverclyde Schools Move challenge was organised by Inverclyde Council s Active Schools sports development team to motivate staff, pupils and their families to increase activity levels during lockdown. Participants were encouraged to go walking, running or cycling in streets near their home to contribute towards their school s success on a weekly leaderboard. Alison Logue s sons Andrew, 10, and Callum, seven, were among the St Michael s Primary pupils who took part. She said: It got the boys motivated to exercise around school work and they enjoyed the competitive side of the challenge.
