Wealthy leftist entertainer Bill Maher recently issued a scathing condemnation of Joe Bidenâs so-called âAmerican Families Plan.â Specifically, he berated Bidenâs free higher education proposal, calling it a scam that is driving tuition inflation.
Maher, a New Yorker and graduate of exclusive Cornell University, is no bold âtruth speaker,â but he does occasionally speak truth as part of his across-party-lines schtick.
Maher introduced his âhigher educationâ comments with this lead: âLetâs talk about what higher education in America really is: a racket.â
He then leaned in to Bidenâs scam: âBidenâs âAmerican Families Planâ asks taxpayers to pony up hundreds of billions so that everyone can go to college. And billions more for subsidized childcare so our kids can go to school while we go to school. ⦠Bidenâs plan is an endorsement of a particular idea that the more time humans spend in classroom

The Senate released its 127-page âbipartisan reportâ on the January 6th Capitol protest, some of which devolved into violent confrontations between U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) and rioters. The report lays most of the blame for unpreparedness on the USCP, which is
not where most of the responsibility should be placed.
Until that report was released yesterday, here is what we have known to be the
indisputable truth about that protest, and how Democrats did what they do best â used it as political fodder to advance their statist agenda.
First it was Atlanta-based Woca-Cola jumping on the bandwagon of corporations objecting to voter integrity.
Then Delta Airlines, Georgiaâs largest employer, chastised Georgia legislators for strengthening election integrity. Delta CEO Ed Bastian made his position crystal clear: âI need to make it crystal clear that the final bill is unacceptable and does not match Deltaâs values.â Apparently, Deltaâs âvaluesâ include promoting the Democratsâ bulk-mail ballot fraud strategy.
Now comes word that American Airlines has joined the virtue-signaling party after Texas legislators prepared to pass voter identification requirements to ensure election integrity in their state.
But American Airlines CEO Doug Parker may wish to reconsider the abject hypocrisy of this race-hustling charade. And Delta has the same problem.
