Some 133 years after it was built, the stately Victorian that overlooks a corner of Fuller Park in Napa will soon have a new owner.
In March, owners Paul and Julie Luckcuck placed the home, known as the Spencer House, on the market for $1.595 million. Today, the property, at 705 and 707 Seminary St., is in escrow, said Paul Luckcuck.

The name of the buyer is not yet public, but that person intends to keep it as a multi-family home, said listing agent Realtor Marcia Hadeler.
ROCKFORD Raze or rehab?
That’s the lingering question concerning the future of the Rockford Housing Authority’s vacant Brewington Oaks housing complex on Seminary Street.
Two-and-a-half years after receiving permission from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to tear down the twin 14-story towers, the housing authority is weighing proposals from developers on the future use of the site.
“The only decision going before the Rockford Housing Authority board at this time is whether or not to demolish Brewington Oaks,” housing authority CEO Laura Snyder said in an email. “The board needs to decide if they would entertain a redevelopment concept that would allow the towers to remain intact.”

JERSEY SHORE Jersey Shore Borough voted 7-1 to continue discussions about the potential for a joint “public safety building” with Citizen’s Hose Co. and the Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police force at its Monday night meeting.
Janet Barnhart voted no.
The regional police force previously had selected vacant borough land to build a headquarters on. Cody Hoover, borough manager, said that while the new plan is in the early stages of discussion, the three entities would not look to build a new building, but rather move into an already existing building within the borough.
If the discussion for this collaboration between the three entities does not work, the regional police would return to its plan of building a headquarters on the vacant land that was previously secured.

Janet Barnhart voted no.
The regional police force as well as the fire company have been looking into moving into other buildings and discussed a collaboration with the borough, as well as the highway department.
The three groups are still in the early stages of this process and will know more as time evolves.
