BJP’s Ujjain MP Anil Firojiya
NEW DELHI: A survey by a New Delhi-based citizen engagement platform, GovernEye, has found that BJP’s Ujjain MP Anil Firojiya, YSRCP’s Nellore MP Adala Prabhakara Reddy and former Congress chief and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi extended the maximum assistance to their constituents during the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
Launched on October 1, the survey initially shortlisted 25 Lok Sabha MPs on the basis of nominations received in their favour. Following field surveys in their constituencies and feedback from the ground, the list was pruned to the Top 10 names.
Speaking to TOI, Ujjain MP Anil Firojiya said, “When the pandemic began, Ujjain had the highest death rate of 30%. I set up a call centre to liaise between patients, their families and the district administration to ensure patients were getting good medical care.
