Yes, Carole Baskin is aware of the Houston tiger saga. And she s got some things to say about it.
In an appearance on CNN, Baskin opened her appearance by admonishing the Senate, specifically Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, for not signing the Big Cat Public Safety Act. I really hope that Senators Cruz and Cornyn will sign onto the Big Cat Public Safety Act because if they had last year when the House passed this bill. this wouldn t have happened this time, Baskin said on CNN. And the reason for that is this cub is nine months old, which means it probably aged out of being used as a pay-to-play prop in December of last year when this passed the House with a 2/3 vote.

Where is India? India is a 9-month-old Bengal tiger that is missing from her home on the westside of Houston. Her owner is out on bond in a 2017 murder case.
The tiger was being well cared for according to police, sleeping indoors and using what is described as a spacious enclosure in the back yard. This house is in a subdivision, not out in a rural area so you can imagine the neighbors’ shock to see India casually lounging in the house’s front yard. The home is a rental and it was empty when police searched it on Monday. An off-duty deputy sheriff who lived nearby arrived on the scene after neighbors called in the tiger sighting on Sunday afternoon.

Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?
In the wake of the bonkers story about a Bengal tiger roaming the streets of Houston and a murder suspect who allegedly ran off with the big cat, CNN turned to an unusual expert: Carole Baskin, star of the hit Netflix docu-series
Tiger King.
Baskin, as you may recall, gained worldwide notoriety from her appearance on the series, which focused on her long-standing feud with private zoo operator Joe Exotic, who was sentenced to 22 years in prison for plotting to murder Baskin. One of the major subplots of the series, meanwhile, revolved around rumors and allegations that Baskin had her second husband killed. (Exotic and others claim she fed her husband to a big cat, a charge Baskin vehemently denies.)

It’s unlikely that anyone expected to see Carole Baskin brought onto CNN as a talking head, but that’s exactly what happened Wednesday morning. And the big cat activist had some pointed words for Texas senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn.
On Mother’s Day, a tiger was spotted roaming the streets of Houston and remains on the loose as of Wednesday morning. The big cat’s alleged owner, Hugo Cuevas, was arrested and charged with evading arrest. Cuevas was out on bond following a 2017 murder charge and was being held at a jail in Richmond, Texas.
