Senator Josh Hawley s book, The Tyranny of Big Tech is ranked number six in Publishers Weekly s latest list of hardcover nonfiction titles
It is also ranked number 15 on Amazon s Top 20 Most Sold and Most Read Books of the Week
Regnery Publishing printed the book on May 4
It was originally scheduled to be released in June by Simon & Schuster, but in January the company decided not to publish the book following the Capitol riots
Hawley had questioned the results of the 2020 presidential election, which thousands of people protested on January 6 when they stormed the Capitol

In much the same way that the jr. senator s crusade against tech is mostly just a media stunt . . . Progressive angst over a controversial gesture doesn t seem to resonate months after the capitol riot/insurrection.

This week, GOP Sen. Josh Hawley celebrated his book, “The Tyranny of Big Tech,” becoming a bestseller… on Amazon.
“Thanks for making The Tyranny of Big Tech a best seller all week on Amazon! You can get your copy here,” the senator tweeted on Thursday, adding a link to the Amazon listing for the book.
They may have their own policing, their own spies, currency, and even their own court, but Big Tech isnât a government. And itâs certainly not our government. After months of watching Silicon Valley decide what is and isnât speech, what is and isnât science, and who is and isnât welcome in the public square, Republicans have had it.
