Senator Mark mourns ex-CAS Nsikak Eduok January 7, 2021 Former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, has described former Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Nsikak Eduok, who died on Wednesday as one of the best and patriotic Air Force Officers ever produced in the country. Marks lamented that the demise of the former Air Chief was a sad reminder of the transient nature of human existence. According to Mark, “His death at this time is a big blow to the nation especially in the battle against insecurity. Eduok was a fine Officer and gentleman whose wealth of experience in security and intelligence management was needed to salvage the intractable challenges facing the nation.

David Mark Mourns Former Education Minister, Agada

By Udora Orizu Former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has expressed shock over the death of former Education Minister, Prof Jerry Agada saying it is a huge loss to the country. Mark in a statement by his Media Adviser, Paul Mumeh, said that the deceased was an unrepentant advocate of education for all based on his conviction that with education, the citizens will be liberated and developments facilitated. He noted that Agada was a peace ambassador, great storyteller and pathfinder, who provided the road map for his people to follow. The former Senate President also noted that Agada as the President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), promoted reading and writing culture amongst Nigerians.
