Baringo Senator Gideon Moi today toured Samburu county to intensify the Building Bridges Initiative campaign.
Gideon took the Constitutional Amendment Bill sensitization drive to Wamba in the county.
The Kanu national chairman was with Maison Leshomo (County MP), her Baringo counterpart Gladwel Cheruiyot, Samburu East MP Jackson Lentoijoni and former PS Richard Lesiyampe.
Senator Moi has called for massive support of the BBI, where he asks residents to support the amendments.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi on Friday presided over the 16th graduation ceremony at Kabarak University as the substantive Chancellor.
It was the first graduation to he held after the death of the founder and the second president of the Republic of Kenya Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.
The university is one of the flagship and landmark institutions of higher learning left by Mzee Moi, who died on February 4. It was founded in 2000.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi wants MCAs to play a pivotal role in the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) process.
Gideon said ward representatives play a critical role as grassroots leaders who hold devolved governments to account.
He said he appreciated consultations he held with several Nyeri MCAs on their role in making devolution successful.
“In this regard, I want to appreciate the MCAs drawn from different wards in Nyeri County led by Pauline Wanjira Wamabati of Magutu Ward and Micheal Karumba of Mwiyogo Ward for the fruitful consultative meeting we had,” he said.

Speaking during a KANU Party BBI sensitisation Forum at a hotel in Kieni Constituency, Senator Moi, also the party Chairperson, said the region would benefit from the BBI proposals.
“If you read the BBI document, Central Kenya is the biggest beneficiary of the amendments with the increased number of constituencies,” he said.
The Senator who also distributed copies of the BBI document to the residents in attendance at the forum, said Kenyans should read the document and support the BBI.
