Greensill crunch deepens as Apollo deal teeters, Credit Suisse circles Save Share London | Australian billionaire Lex Greensill’s collapsing supply-chain finance empire came under fresh pressure on almost every front on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT), as creditors and regulators circled while a $US60 million ($78 million) asset sale fell into jeopardy. Greensill fell into insolvency on Monday, handing the reins to administrator Grant Thornton on a potential deal with US private equity giant Apollo Global Management to buy a major chunk of the business – but now the prospects for that deal have ebbed.
