Road rage incident west of Lehigh Valley leads to fatal stabbing, police say

A 29-year-old Potttsville man is charged with stabbing a 38-year-old man to death during a road rage incident Monday afternoon in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania State Police report.
Tamlir Ion Whitted and George Marcincin, of Orwigsburg, were driving their vehicles south about 2 p.m. on Route 61 near Brick Hill Road in West Brunswick Township about 30 miles west of the Lehigh Valley when they stopped, got out of the vehicles and began to fight, police from the Schuylkill Haven barracks said. Whitted pulled out a knife and stabbed Marcinin several times, police said.
Tamir Ion Whitted, 29, was charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder and related offenses in a stabbing death that police call a road rage incident.

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. State Police have charged a 29-year-old Schuylkill County man with murder, aggravated assault, and related offenses following a road rage incident that left one person dead near Orwigsburg on Monday.
Tamiir Ion Whitted, of Pottsville, is accused of stabbing and killing 38-year-old George Marcincin of Orwigsburg during a confrontation along Route 61 South near Brick Hill Road at about 2 p.m. Monday, according to State Police.
Investigators say the two men were traveling south on Route 61 when they exited their vehicles and got into a physical confrontation, during which Whitted produced a knife and stabbed Marcincin several times.
