92.7 WOBM and Gateway Toyota of Toms River honor GIANNA DeDREUX of Brick Township High School as the Student of the Week.
Ranked in the top 10% of her class and a member of the National Honor Society, she was a four-year member of the Cheerleading Team and captain as a senior. Gianna also played softball for three years but it was on the wrestling mat where she shined this winter winning the Shore Conference 114-pound title while finishing third in both the region and state tournaments.
Heading to The College of New Jersey where she’ll major in Criminal Justice while working with the Men’s Wrestling Team and starting a club one for women is GIANNA DeDREUX, our Ocean County Student of the Week.

All inductees were selected by a statewide committee of journalists and both active and retired school administrators.
“What always amazes me about our annual Hall of Fame process is that there never seems to be a shortage of remarkable individuals who either played or contributed to scholastic athletics in New Jersey,” Jack DuBois, NJSIAA assistant director, who chairs the selection committee, said in a prepared statement. “This year’s group is no exception, and it speaks to the long, proud history of high school sports in our state.”
14-year-old boy from Brick missing since Sunday
Brick police are looking for a 14-year-old boy missing for the past three days.
Dalton Bailey was last seen on Sunday wearing black shorts, black Adidas sneakers, and a camouflage hooded sweatshirt and a watch on his left wrist, according to Brick police.
He has brown hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 8 inches with a medium build.
Police said he was last seen in the area of Burton Parkway and McKay Drive with no known direction or possible destination. He is a student at Brick Township High School.
Brick police asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 732-262-1113.
