Jammu: To spread awareness regarding Covid protocols, NSS unit of Government Degree College Marh organized one day Poster Making Competition under the banner of Azadi ka Maha Amrit Mahostava. The students expressed their views through innovative and colourful posters.
Principal of the College Prof. Aekta Gupta appreciated the NSS Unit and Students who participated in the programme and gave a strong message of ‘Stay home Stay Safe’ , Vaccinate and follow the SOPs . The NSS Programme Officer, Satish Kumar organized and forwarded the proceedings of the programme.

Prof. Aekta Gupta dispelled the apprehension that may arise amongst the general public regarding vaccine because of various concerns related to safety, efficacy and others. She also stressed that COVID-19 SOP’s must be followed not just during and after vaccination but even otherwise also.
The NSS program Officer Prof.Satish Kumar and Prof.Sachin Bhagat along with the NSS volunteers visited different areas in the village Dhateryal, Marh and made the people aware about the importance of the safety of their health and hygiene.

Jammu: Sessions on “Soft Skill and Personality Development” under capacity building and skill initiative by the Government Degree College Marh in collaboration with Central University of Jammu, is proceeding smoothly in the College. The course started under the chairmanship of Principal Prof Aekta Gupta (GDC, Marh) and the resource person for the day was Nidhi Verma, who delivered lecture on ‘Communication Skills’ in three consecutive sessions.
Staff members of Government Degree College Marh along with students enrolled in the course was present in the session. The proceeding of the course was in supervision of Prof Anjana Chib Coordinator of the Course and the overall incharge Prof. Asha Jolly.
