Officials stated they were “amazed to see they were flooded” with wonderful comments.  The public form, according to Seguin Township officials, brought up some important questions and a few misguided facts that were addressed in the results report.  Here are a few highlights from the report;  The Airport is a vital community asset with 40% of its fuel revenue derived from Essential Services that all residents benefit from.

Motorcyclist facing several charges after fleeing officers, police say

  BARRIE A 20-year-old Markham man with a motorcycle beginner s license faces several charges after police say he fled from provincial police on Highway 400 in Parry Sound. Police say officers were patrolling the highway around 11 p.m. on Saturday when they attempted to stop the southbound motorcycle. Officers found the bike on Oastler Park in Seguin Township and charged the man with several offences, including Flight from peace officer, and Drive motor vehicle no plates. Ontario s property landscape is changing. The assessed value of all properties in the province is now estimated to be more than $3 trillion. These changes are summarized in the annual assessment rolls, which were delivered to municipalities across Ontario. Even during a pandemic, Ontario continues to grow as evidenced by the $37.3 billion in new assessment across Ontario from new construction and improvements to existing properties, said Nicole McNeill, President and Chief Administrative Officer. In 2020 Ontario saw more than 36,000 new residential units and 16,000 residential condominium units. And with people spending more time at home this year we saw a 28% increase in the number of renovation permits this year as people invested in making improvements to their homes.
