SEGUIN, Texas A Seguin High School senior is a champion in the classroom while giving back to his community.
We all know how the saying goes, but if you want to keep up with the beat, you better not be marching to a different drummer, and instead allow Casey Silvius lead the way.
“He has that personality to be able to take on whatever he s given, whatever task he s given,” said Hector Esquivel, principal of Seguin High School.

(Seguin) It’s remote learning these next four days for students at Seguin High School. The campus on Monday announced that students would finish out the fall semester at home.
Sean Hoffmann, the chief communications officer for the Seguin ISD, says the total transition to virtual learning is in response to an increase in COVID-19 cases at the campus.
“The impetus for going virtual through Friday at Seguin High School and essentially shutting down our face to face operations is because we’ve seen COVID numbers go up since Friday, since last week. We are at about 11 confirmed cases at Seguin High School with about 150 students quarantined so going with the knowledge that our high school students are rather mature and are able to convert remote learning quickly, they are used to it, it’s something that they are well versed in so in an effort to keep the COVID numbers down and to keep our other campuses open as well espec
