Prior to working in O’Regan’s office, Oliver was the policy adviser handling rail and road transportation at Transportation Minister Omar Alghabra’s office, as well as serving at Alghabra’s Ontario desk. Feds invest $22M for climate centre at Simon Fraser University

An urban climate change centre will be established by Simon Fraser University through a $22-million self-sustained federal endowment, said Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson. Wilkinson made the announcement Tuesday at a press conference on behalf of Natural Resources Minister Seamus O’Regan. The Metro Vancouver LC3 Centre is being established by SFU s Renewable Cities program but will operate as a new non-profit organization.
