COVID-19 in Mumbai: BMC reels under shortage of Covaxin; beneficiaries due for second dose turned away from centers
On Monday, 31,043 registered beneficiaries were vaccinated at the 105 covid vaccine centres in Mumbai, of which 4,837 were between 18 and 44 years of age

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has been reeling under an acute shortage of Covaxin for the last two days, as a result of which beneficiaries due for their second dose are being turned away from centres despite having appointments. Only two of the three vaccine centres are administering Covaxin to beneficiaries between 18 and 44 years of age. Civic officials say they are down to the last 1,00,000 doses of vaccines, which is just enough stock for the next two days.

Mumbai: The Mumbai Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) gives a nod to late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray Memorial. The proposed complex will have three new buildings in an area of around 1,19,130 square feet. Balasaheb Thackeray complex will also include former mayor s bungalow. Earlier, Mumbai civic body had handed over the bungalow to the Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial Public Trust.
Maharashtra state Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray heads the Balasaheb Memorial Trust.
