Assam CM Sarma Visits Digboi s Tingrai Market Blast Site, Rs 5 lakh Each for Those Killed Two persons lost their lives and two were seriously injured at a grenade attack on Friday in Tingrai market. CM Sarma also met the families of the deceased   |  15 May 2021 5:59 AM GMT Digboi: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Tingrai market in Digboi on Saturday and inspected the place where a grenade blast took place on Friday killing two persons and seriously injuring two others. He condemned the act and announced Rs 5 lakh each for the families of the deceased. I strongly condemn the incident. It was a very unfortunate incident. Sanjiv Singh and Surojit Talukdar died in the grenade attack. We will not peace in the state be disturbed at any cost. I have already directed Assam Police to take strict action against those involved in the grenade attack, CM Sarma told reporters at the blast site.
