Cobra Kai star is gearing up for the release of his third go-around as down-and-out Karate master Johnny Lawrence in the YouTube-turned-Netflix hit series a 34-years-later action-dramedy sequel to
The Karate Kid. But before that comes, he s got talking to do. That includes some time with me on Zoom, and, apparently, just enough time beforehand to get a quick pump in.
It sure isn t the intensive training he does before production begins on new
Cobra Kai seasons, though. He tells me that about a month before filming, he usually does hard Karate training with Simon Rhee, a master martial artist who also has Hollywood experience, starring in the 1989 film
