The ministry of forests has asked local government and First Nations for their feedback on both proposals before it will determine “how and whether to proceed,” creating a competition that some say is unprecedented and possibly unfair. Four men attack man with poles whilst stealing mobile phones Four men attacked a man with poles whilst stealing a number of mobile phones after meeting up to buy them in Milton Keynes. The man who had his phones stolen followed the individual and jumped into the boot of the man’s car as it sped off. The car then stopped and the man who stole the phones, along with three other men got out and attacked the man. He was hit with poles from two of the attackers sustaining bruises to his body that required hospital treatment. The man who is in his thirties has since been discharged.

MK man has knife pulled out on him in attempted robbery

A man was threatened with a knife in an attempted robbery in Milton Keynes. At around 10.50pm on Sunday, April 25, a 34-year-old man was walking on the redway under the V6 between Leadenhall and Bleak Hall when he was approached by three men. One of the men told him to hand over his phone and when the man refused, a knife was pulled out. The 34-year-old punched the man with the knife before was then hit by another member of the group. The man then punched the second person who hit him as well, before all three men ran off in the direction of Bleak Hall Industrial Estate.
