Ruben Perales, financial relationship manager with Fifth Third Bank, will present a Zoom Webinar, titled “Take Control of Your Financial Health,” on March 4.
F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva and Fifth Third Bank will host a Zoom Webinar, titled “Take Control of Your Financial Health,” on March 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Participants will learn about budgeting, saving and boosting credit scores, while eliminating debt. Financial strategies will also be discussed. Ruben Perales, financial relationship manager at Fifth Third Bank, will introduce the information in an interesting and interactive manner.

Amanda Seyfried has enthused that her Golden Globes nomination is a boost not only for her but also for Marion Davies, the historical figure she portrays in Mank.
Speaking to Deadline shortly after the announcement of the Golden Globe nominees for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama, the 35-year-old actress said the news was a win for both of us , referring to Davies. I think she would be proud,” she added.
Directed by David Fincher in black-and-white, Mank tells the story of Herman J. Mankiewicz (Gary Oldman), who was hired to write the script for Orson Welles’ 1941 classic Citizen Kane. As he writes, the author has flashbacks to his friendship with publisher William Randolph Hearst (Charles Dance) and Hearst s partner Davies, who are said to be the inspiration for the main characters in Citizen Kane.

The TC DDA is selling Color for Hope posters.
The sale of each poster will go towards the Grand Traverse County Drug Free Coalition.
The posters were made by Susan Alexander, who lost her daughter to a drug overdose.
Her sister, Margaret Alexander has helped to get these posters to the public and coordinated with the DDA in order to sell them.
Margaret Alexander says, “We knew the posters needed a good place to be able to do something that was really needed in the community around education and prevention and treatment and addiction with substance abuse disorder that we’ve had issues with in the past.”
