Alan Sweetman is executive director of Pahar Trust Nepal, a Bristol-based charity that funds and builds schools and other essential projects such as health centres in remote parts of Nepal.
To mark 30 years since the first school was built, the charity has just launched its 30 For 30 campaign which aims to raise £50,000 to help 30 schools in Nepal improve teaching provision and facilities for pre-primary school children aged one to five.
