Gyeonggi Province Gov. Lee Jae-myung ranked second with 25.1%, while former Democratic Party (DP) chief Lee Nak-yon ranked third with 11.2% in the latest poll. Independent lawmaker Hong Joon-pyo with 7.0%, People Party chairman Ahn Cheol-soo with 5.0%, and former prime minister Chung Sye-kyun with 4.6% followed. Former People Power Party (PPP) lawmaker Yoo Seung-min gained 2.5% and former justice minister Choo Mi-ae won 2.2%. The poll was conducted on 1,013 voters nationwide on May 3 by pollster Realmeter.
