Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says the review comes amid a national push for systemic change to end sexual assault and violence against women. She says one in five Queensland women has experienced sexual violence since turning 15 and one in four has experienced violence from her partner. Queensland Police treating murders of elderly couple as terror event linked to Logan Motorway police shooting

Dashcam footage has captured the moments before police fatally shot a man, suspected of murdering an elderly Brisbane couple, on the Logan Motorway. The video shows Raghe Abdi backing away from police just minutes before he was killed on Thursday morning. Abdi is now the main suspect in the investigation into the deaths of Maurice Antill, 87, and Zoe Antill, 86. Their bodies were found at a house in Parkinson yesterday afternoon. Police have confirmed they are treating their murders as a terrorism event. Detectives made the announcement this morning after uncovering a direct link between their deaths and the killing of Abdi.
