He said the act had also sullied his reputation apart from leading to losses suffered by innocent people.
The impersonation, he said, would also cause confusion as his profile picture had been misused on social media in an attempt to deceive the people.
Sulaiman said his office is monitoring the illegal act and wouldn t hesitate to initiate legal action if the scammer continues to solicit funds by misusing the picture of Chief Minister.

Kota Laksamana assemblyman Low Chee Leong said there were a significant number of devotees among the ethnic Chinese who would fulfil obligations during Thaipusam. Hopefully, state government-linked companies and agencies will grant leave to them on Jan 28. Those employed in the private sector should also be considered, he said Friday (Jan 22).
