Private Brad Freeman came home to Caledonia from World War II, went to college on the G.I. Bill, got married, built a home, raised two daughters and, for 32 years, worked as a rural letter carrier until he retired.
Ask Rufus: A Celebration and Remembrance On Friday, members of present day Easy Company of the 506th of the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, gathered with the 43rd FTS of CAFB and the Mississippi Army National Guard to honor Brad Freeman of Caledonia. A presentation was made to him by members of present day Easy Company of the 506th of the 101st Airborne who came from Fort Campbell and by members of the 43rd FTS of Columbus Air Force Base.
