The city of Detroit is opening eight more vaccination sites in the neighborhoods next week in hopes of getting hesitant residents to roll up their sleeves. Only 21% of Detroit residents have been vaccinated so far, compared to 38% in Oakland County, 38% in Western Wayne County, and 30% in Macomb County. In one month, the number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in Detroit grew by more than 1,100%, reaching 315 daily cases on Friday. During the same period, the rate of positive COVID-19 tests in Detroit rose from 2.7% to 17.9%.
The Houthi militia have set up false missiles in residential places in northern Yemen’s Hajjah province to deceive the Arab Coalition to strike them and cause civilian casualties which the militia want to exploit politically on the international arena.
Human rights sources said Iran-backed militia “is seeking to … draw the warplanes to attack these dummies, made of wood, as military targets.”
The militia is accused of widely embedding weapons in residential reas to make it difficult for the Coalition to strike tem.

The Whangamata and environs art scene is healthier than it has ever been if the latest event of the Whangamata Art Collective is anything to go by.
This year s Easter Arts Trail will be the biggest yet, with artist hubs for the first time at Whangamata Information Centre, new hubs in Opoutere and Whiritoa, and even at the unusual location of the Whangamata Barber s Shop.
