Navi Mumbai s Palm Beach Road on Friday morning.
According to Suresh Mengade, DCP (Zone 1), the body is of a woman who is yet to be identified. It was found abandoned on the roadside in
Nerul. The body is severely decomposed. From the looks of it, it was stuffed forcefully inside the steel drum in which it was found. Due to Cyclone Tauktae, this stretch of road had been cordoned off and that is when the culprit might have dumped the body here 4-5 days back, he said.
