IIT Bombay, TCS win Rajagiri National Business quiz

IIT Bombay and Tata Consultancy Services have won the 11th Rajagiri National Business quiz in the student and corporate category respectively.
In the student category, Preetham Upadhya and Sidharth Sethu of IIT Bombay won the Rs 1,00,000 cash prize for the grand finale winner. Syed Mohammed Hashmi and Naveed Mahmood of Osmania Medical College won Rs 50,000 for the first runner- up and Pratyush Goel and Paranthap Singh of IIM Bangalore won Rs 15,000 for the second runner-up position.
In the corporate category, Aniruddha Dutta and Jaykanthan R of Tata Consultancy Services bagged the Rs 1,00,000 cash prize. Abhishek and Subrata Dass of Novartis won Rs 50,000 for the first runner-up position, and Ayush Awasthi and Teo Thomas of EY won Rs 15,000 for the second runner-up position.

BOSTON–IAGB Covid Cares Relief Fund has donated over $15,000 to local food pantries and shelters, India Association of Greater Boston, known as IAGB, said in a statement.
“Very grateful to everyone who donated generously and supported our effort and stepped up as a community to help those in need in our own backyard,” said IAGB President Sanjay Gowda. “It was an eye-opening experience visiting some local pantries and shelters. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time – heartbreaking to see the people of all ages waiting in line and the heartwarming part was that many volunteers across all the communities coming forward to help. I am very glad that our effort and initiatives brought smiles for some families. Also, very thankful to SETU team for their partnership to raise funds.”

Virtual exhibition ‘Masculinity in your eyes’ underway at EMK Center Maisha Islam Monamee Maisha Islam Monamee
A month-long 3D virtual exhibition, Masculinity in your eyes , was inaugurated on December 2 at EMK Center. It is available for visitors on their official website. Conducted as a part of EMK Center s two-week campaign under the global initiative, 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, the exhibition intends to address the root causes of violence, by enabling people to look for solutions. The exhibition will continue till December 31, and it is conducted with Kunstamatrix, a unique tool that enables artists and organisers to create beautiful 3D showcases of artworks.
