A year after it s rerun during coronavirus induced lockdown, the popular mythological show Ramayan has once again returned to the small screen. Directed by Ramanand Sagar, Ramayan has been aired after a span of almost 33 years. It was re-telecast on Doordarshan National in March 2020. The show is currently airing on Star Bharat every day at 7 pm. Dipika Chikhlia, who played the character of Sita in the show, shared the news on social media.

Almost a year after it s rerun during coronavirus induced lockdown, the popular mythological show Ramayan is once again returning to the small screen. Directed by Ramanand Sagar, Ramayan has been aired after a span of almost 33 years. It was re-telecast on Doordarshan National in March 2020. This comes after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray imposed a strict janta curfew from April 14 owing to the growing cases of Covid-19. The janta curfew will remain in effect till 7 am on May 1.
