As part of I Love A Clean San Diego s Creek to Bay Cleanup, Friends of Hillcrest will host a litter cleanup in the neighborhood.
Everyone who loves Hillcrest is welcome to participate by cleaning up litter on their block or any part of Hillcrest at any time throughout the day.
Those who need trash bags or gloves may stop by the front of Rich s San Diego (1051 University Ave.) from 9:30-11 am on Saturday, April 24 to pickup these items. Suggestions for litter hot spots will also be provided.

SAN DIEGO The marshy wetlands surrounding Pacific Beach’s Rose Creek is not only home to bicyclists, birds and butterflies but is just minutes from Mission Bay, tying it closely to San Diego’s most precious resource, our ocean.
Which is why clearing trash from watersheds, beaches and areas that are tied so closely to our ocean, is vital, for keeping up our coastal ecosystem clean.
