A medical doctor, Chidera Ifudu, has died in a motor accident two months to his wedding.
The accident involving his Lexus SUV occurred on Friday morning, along Port Harcourt/Aba Expressway.
According to reports, the medical practitioner was trying to avoid hitting a pedestrian when his car veered off the road and crashed.
The deceased, who worked at Enugu State University of Science and Technology Teaching Hospital, was reportedly the only son of his father.
It was gathered that Ifudu s wedding invitation card was used to trace his relations.

There are claims that a rotation exists among the three Senatorial Zones – Enugu North, Enugu West, and Enugu East – for the Governorship slot which should be maintained. While some deny the existence of such rotation and that any capable person from any part of the state should be allowed to run.

AMCON releases Enugu female students after 6 days in detention

Detained 344 Enugu students and staff of Providence High School on Tuesday regained freedom after six days of being held hostage by Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, who sealed the entrance gate to their school.
The padlock with which the school was locked had been removed when visited by Tuesday afternoon.
When contacted one of the staff who simply identified himself as, Mr George, said that the corporation came earlier in the morning, removed the padlock and left.
“They came around in the morning to remove the padlock on the gate. It is a gradual thing. We believe will get over the trauma caused by the corporation”, he said.
