Law enforcement officials are reminding drivers of the Move Over law.
That s after a multi-vehicle wreck on Monday sent an Alabama State Trooper to the hospital. His car was barely recognizable after it was rear-ended while the Trooper was working an accident scene on Interstate 65 in Limestone County.
First responders say it s quite common for drivers to not move over when they re on the side of the street.

ATHENS, Ala. (AP) A judge on Tuesday dismissed a juror from the trial of a longtime Alabama sheriff following accusations that a jail inmate bragged she is his “old lady” and he could sway her vote.
Judge Pamela Baschab dismissed a juror from the panel after testimony that an inmate at the Limestone County Jail had bragged the mother of his children is on the jury. Inmate Austin Clem testified that the inmate told him his “old lady” was on the jury and that he could persuade her to vote not guilty if the sheriff would let him out of jail.

On Tuesday, the state rested its case against Mike Blakely, the judge dismissed a juror from the trial, and Blakely s defense attorneys began making their case.
After the state rested its case, jurors were released for a two-hour lunch break. However, the attorneys returned before that.
