Taylor rose through the ranks at Salesforce extremely quickly. He joined the company in 2016, when it acquired his word processing startup Quip and reported directly to Benioff right away, which is rare for startup CEOs post-acquisition. Soon after, in 2017, Taylor made the leap to the C-suite as the president and chief product officer of Salesforce, before his latest promotion to COO in December 2019.
Prior to Quip, Taylor was Facebook s chief technology officer and helped lead the company through its IPO in 2012 and gets the credit for creating its Like button. Before that, he was at Google, where he helped create Google Maps.

The Concord Museum announced the recent appointment of Robert Ripley as director of finances and operations.
Ripley came to the museum from the Merchants Trust Company, where as president he was responsible for strategic and tactical day-to-day bank operations of the wealth management division. In his new role, Ripley will be responsible for the financial management of the museum as well as related business and operational affairs, including financial operations, human resources, security and facility maintenance.

Based in New York, Phil has more than 22 years of sales experience in enterprise data management. Before that he was Head of America Sales at Asset Control Inc., where he was responsible for driving new revenue for enterprise data management solutions across the Americas. He also held various senior positions with Bloomberg LP, GoldenSource Corporation and SunGard.
