Jumia customers will benefit from reduced delivery fees following the launch of the City Partner Program in Mt. Kenya.
The new program is aimed at empowering local businesses by boosting their revenue and providing better services to the consumers.
Entrepreneurs will earn between up to Ksh 100,000 per month by becoming Jumia pick-up stations (with their existing shops) & by helping customers in the area to place orders.
“This is a great way for businesses to earn additional income and serve as Jumia representatives in the Mt.Kenya region. City Captains will also be responsible for recruiting & training young people in their towns – so that they can earn income via our JForce Program,” said Sam Chappatte, Jumia Kenya CEO, adding, “We continue to see unserved customers in towns outside of Nairobi. Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 28 (ANI): Punjab Police on Thursday arrested Inderjeet Singh, the second shooter involved in the killing of Comrade Balwinder Singh Sandhu last year.
Inderjeet was arrested from Mumbai airport shortly before he was to board a flight to Dubai Punjab Police said today.
Inderjeet, along with Gurjit Singh, had in October last year shot dead Comrade Balwinder Singh at his residence-cum-school in Bhikhiwind, Tarn Taran, according to an official release.
According to DGP Punjab Dinkar Gupta, Gurjit Singh had been arrested by the Delhi police on December 7, along with his associate, Sukhjeet Singh alias Bura. Gupta said that while Gurjit and Inderjeet Singh had carried out the shooting, Sukhjeet had stationed himself a little away from the spot.
