Dover Superintendent Mike Tierney said their project was supposed to go up for a vote last year, but it was delayed due to the pandemic. It was definitely needed but with COVID and the questions about state aid we put it off, Tierney said.

Teaching methods have changed in the last decade and therefore the district s infrastructure must also change in order to properly deliver for students, Rennia said. A proper STEM classroom will create an atmosphere where students can collaborate to solve problems, explore ideas and concepts and use their hands to build prototypes.
