Date Time 1000 people cut off as NSW SES gear up for more bad weather The NSW SES is gearing up for more bad weather in the week ahead with roughly 1000 people still intermittently isolated on the Mid North Coast. NSW SES Assistant Commissioner Sean Kearns said that volunteers have been working with local communities to ensure that they have the supplies they need. “These people are resilient and flood-aware. We have been working with them over the past few days to ensure that they have all the supplies that they need,” said Mr Kearns. The NSW SES stands ready to help should heavy rain cause already full rivers and creeks to overflow around the Hunter and Mid North Coast. Flood Watch Bulletins have been issued for both Mid North Coast and Hunter District Rivers.
