Members of the Taiwan Republic Office, led by its director, Chilly Chen (陳峻涵), were joined by Taiwan Solidarity Union (TSU) members and others to protest the airline’s decision not to highlight the word “Taiwan” on its aircraft. “The new design still has ‘China Airlines,’ only slightly smaller and moved nearer the tail. China Airlines Expands Cargo Fleet with First of Six Boeing 777F Aircraft

(15 Dec 2020) China Airlines’ first Boeing 777F is about to enter service. The first 777F has the aircraft number B-18771 from the Boeing 747F the airline retired in 2004. The freighter will fly freight routes in Asia and North America as soon as it has completed preparation and validation. Six of the Boeing 777F China Airlines has on order are slated to be delivered between 2020 and 2023.
