Glasses for sale hang in the bar. Those after a physical reminder of their nights out streamed into the China Inn on Saturday, as it sold off its contents. SOUTH YARMOUTH A juvenile faces multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a convenience store Tuesday night, according to a Yarmouth Police Department official.
Police were called at 10:55 p.m. to Cape Cod Convenience on 50 Long Pond Road after the store owner was alerted by an alarm system, said Deputy Chief Kevin Lennon. When the owner checked his cameras, he saw a person in store, said Lennon.
Police set up a perimeter around the store and arrested the suspect after a brief pursuit that ended in the parking lot of the China Inn restaurant on Route 28.
The suspect had smashed a hole in the front window of Cape Cod Convenience big enough for a person to climb through, said Lennon.
